Managing your repeat prescriptions has never been easier. At Hughes Pharmacy, we offer a FREE prescription collection service to ensure you get your medication conveniently and on time.
Let Us Collect Your Prescription for You
Instead of picking up your repeat prescription from your GP surgery, why not let Hughes Pharmacy handle it for you? Once your prescription is ready, we’ll collect it, dispense your medication, and have it ready for you to pick up at an agreed time.
How it Works:
Register with us to take advantage of our convenient prescription collection service. You can register directly at the pharmacy or contact your local GP practice to nominate Hughes Pharmacy as your chosen pharmacy.
Ordering Your Repeat Prescription
Ordering In-Store
We recommend ordering your medication at least 7 days in advance to ensure it’s ready on time. The easiest way to order your repeat prescriptions is through the NHS App.
Download from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and manage your prescriptions any time, anywhere.
Once you’ve submitted your order via the NHS App:
• Your GP surgery will receive a notification.
• A doctor will review and approve your request.
• A prescription will be sent to Hughes Pharmacy.
• We will then label, dispense, and order any required medications.
You’ll receive a text message from us once your items are ready for collection.
You can also order in person at the pharmacy:
1. When collecting your medication, ask a team member for a printout of your up-to-date repeat slip.
2. Tick the items you require.
3. Place your repeat form in the correct post box in-store - we’ll take care of the rest.

Please Note: Only medications listed on your authorised repeat prescription will be issued. It is your responsibility to request only those items. We’ll collect, dispense, and have your medication ready for pick-up within 7 days of your order.

Do you use a different GP Surgery:
We dispense electronic prescriptions from any GP surgery using the electronic prescription service. If you want to nominated Hughes Pharmacy, please confirm with your surgery that they use electronic prescriptions. If they do, you can nominated Hughes Pharmacy with your GP surgery, or in our store.
